A little about Kurt

Started training and competing competitively in triathlon in October 2018 after recovering from life threatening brain injury. I needed an outlet that was fun and time consuming to put my time and energy to good use benefiting myself and loved ones. Triathlon fits me well because I challenge the status quo and think differently, with multiple aspects to the sport I always have something to work on. I look to promote the sport and encourage others because it's had life changing effects on me from the life lessons I learned, toughness I've gained and great people and places I've been able to meet and see.

Did multiple running and trail races which are just for fun and can promote. Set PR's like cray but nothing special on finish. Except for a cancer 10k I did at Creve Coeur I won in my brother's friends honor but no points needed. They call me Microwave on the basketball court cause I get hot real quick! As you can see in my ending season result! (I'd add that to nicknames but I have enough)
